Education
A native of northern Minnesota, Paul Otten received his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from the William Mitchell College of Law, St. Paul, Minn. Earlier he received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Minnesota, Duluth.

Paul Otten speaks regularly at professional seminars and continuing legal education programs for attorneys. He has gained considerable professional recognition, including his selection by his peers as a Leading American Attorney. He has been named an Arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association and an Arbitrator approved by the Minnesota Supreme Court. Martindale-Hubbell awarded Paul Otten its highest rating.

Active in professional associations, Paul Otten is a member of the Minnesota Association for Justice, the Minnesota State Bar Association, the First Judicial District Bar Association and the Dakota County Bar Association. He also serves on the Ethics Committee for the First Judicial District (Dakota and Goodhue Counties).
